5M STANLEY FAT MAX TAPE MEASURE

An impressive top quality professional 5m (metric only) tape from Stanley, the FatMax Blade Armor pocket range is a substantial product for the demanding user.

This excellent tape measure, which incorporates a 5 metre long steel blade, has a blade diameter of 32mm allowing the tape’s metric only graduations to be easily read. Also thanks to the blade's diameter this tape measure also has the advantage of an excellent standout range.

Like all the other FatMax tape measures, the blade is protectively coated in Mylar meaning that the blade can last for up to ten times longer than those that are traditionally coated.

The tape conforms to the EEC Class II standard of accuracy, an internationally recognised benchmark, meaning it enables the user to achieve excellent levels of measuring precision. It is aided in this by incorporating an extremely strong and rust proof ’tru –zero’ hook at the tip of the tape, which is firmly attached to the blade with 3 rivets. This hook enables the user to effortlessly take exact internal and external measurements... Unlike a conventional 'bottom hook' the overall design of the hook allows measurements to be taken from the side, above and below.

A large rubberised bumper surrounds the bi-material plastic casing of this tape measure providing impressive protection to the blade and its hook as well as affording a very comfortable hand grip to the user.
